Description

The University of Rawalpindi is seeking a talented and innovative AI Automation Engineer to lead the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation solutions across the institution. The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing academic, administrative, research, and student support functions through intelligent technologies, process automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to improve academic, administrative, research, and student services.
• Analyze university processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvement, and digital transformation.
• Develop and implement AI-driven workflows, intelligent assistants, and automation systems for various university departments.
• Build, integrate, and maintain AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants to support students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand requirements and deliver innovative technology solutions.
• Integrate AI technologies with existing university systems, including ERP, LMS, HRMS, Admissions, Examination, and Research Management platforms.
• Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and automation frameworks to support institutional operations.
• Support faculty and researchers in adopting AI technologies for teaching, learning, research, and innovation activities.
• Implement Generative AI solutions to enhance productivity, decision-making, content generation, and knowledge management.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI models, automated workflows, and system performance.
• Ensure data security, privacy, ethical AI practices, and compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, user guides, and training materials for deployed solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Automation technologies.

Requirement

• Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 02 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-driven applications.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Microsoft Power Automate, Make, Zapier, or equivalent tools.
• Experience in API integration, database management, and cloud-based AI services.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks and technologies such as OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
